well, yesterday we finally got rayna in for her 6 month check-up (yep, she's almost 9 months old), because there's some weird mix-up with moving and insurance and stuff... (and i forgot an appointment, but since that was the first time ever in my life, i figure i can pretend it didn't happen)... anyways, she's perfect. the nurse seemed really surprised at her motor skills (i guess it helps that she's 8 1/2 months old, not 6), and her crawling and stuff. anyways, she's about 19 pounds, and 27 1/2 inches tall, about the 65-70th percentiles. she's such a happy girl, though she still won't smile much for the camera, and she loves playing outside, and with afton in our playroom. she did have to get three shots and a toe-prick (to measure iron), but she barely cried, so that was good. (it also gave afton the idea to give her little friend a "shot" today with a ball-point pen to the abdomen, sorry again!)
