10 favorite things

1) Paul (cheesy, but oh, so true) (yes both pics are old, but they're w/& w/o beard)

2) M&M's plain chocolate candies. nuf said.

3) Afton, she's a twerp, but so's the rest of the family, gotta love her :)

4) Rayna, by the way, these are in no particular order :), such a sweetheart, and growing into a VERY strong personality.

5) going to the zoo! i love my zoo membership!

6) my new beco, it's not this pattern, mine's dragons, but it's the most comfortable baby-carrier ever, and it puts rayna right to sleep.

7) libraries, what a brilliant invention, i love to read, but i hate buying books, i'd much rather borrow them, especially when i don't know if i like them yet--cause i haven't read them, and especially knowing there aren't tons of books i want to read twice, so why buy them?

8)rocks, all shapes, sizes and colors, but hard rocks are the best :)

9)walking, just getting out of the house each day

10)baking: bread, pretzles, cookies, pies, dinner--okay that's usually cooking, that's in here too, even granola bars

So I've decided to buy a baby carrier that I'll actually use for this third baby. But, holy cow--$140?! Is it $140 comfortable?

i got mine used on ebay, it was actually $52 with shipping. mine's an older model, so it doesn't have the newborn insert, but a friend of mine just got another used one for $75 that is the newer model. but yes, it could really be worth $140 if you use it every day. it work front or back, newborn to 50 lbs, (i've carried afton a few times when i've had rayna in the stroller, and it's not at all uncomfortable), it's totally lumbar support, so there's no stretching or pulling in your back muscles, or shoulder/neck pain, even if you wear your baby all day it still doesn't hurt (another friend of mine has a super-whiny baby that's 10 months old, and i guess she has him in there at least every day). i think of the 8-10 ladies in our playgroup, 7-9 of us have becos, and the others don't have babies, just toddlers
the one catch with buying used is that you don't have first pick of design, but they're all cute :)

wow, i sound like a commercial, they should give me a free one!

actually, they do have a promo thing that if you can convince a local supplier to carry beco products, you get a new one free, so there's that option too :)
